A Helpful Hindrance
It is in times of fear and desperation that we often find ourselves standing in the way of the plan of the Lord. We might be trying to help. Perhaps we are attempting to fix something we messed up, or turn things around.
When I Am The One
Perhaps we have decided God is taking a little bit too long to answer our cries and he needs our assistance. Our attempts to “help him along” often backfire and we realize, although our intentions were pure, we have wandered from the safety of the sheepfold.
Today’s Special
There is a danger in being surrounded by all things Christian that can sneak up on us when we least expect it. That danger comes when we are immersed in a godly culture but we are failing to make the necessary practical application.
I Will
We often give ourselves far more credit for maintaining our balance than we deserve. As we face our struggles, our Heavenly Father is the one holding tight to our hand. He is keeping us from falling.
My Allowance Please
We are called to a deliberate, intentional, conscious effort to remain united with others in the body of Christ.
Some Time Later
If we truly want to know God, to be a friend of God, like Abraham, we will face the “Some time later” test of our faith. This test demands an obedient sacrifice that will almost certainly proceed the revelation of the blessing.

Relentless
Oh weary one, if you have carved a path to the throne bringing this request to your Father, please don’t give up! God is not wearied by your return. He is pleased that even when it seems hopeless you are trudging on in faith, trusting that the One who loves you is still listening.
Fire Hazard
On our journey we are going to run into fire hazards. While the majority of us are well-practiced at flashing our dazzling social media smile, we each still have trouble spots that are still smoldering during our quest for Christ-likeness.

God has not forgotten you. He is not punishing you. He is changing you. We must trust him with the chisel.
